SettleMint is aware of fraudulent recruiting attempts by individuals falsely claiming to represent our company, especially claiming to be hiring for a CTO. This is not legitimate.
What SettleMint will never do
- Ask candidates for payment, fees, or compensation at any stage of the hiring process
- Request crypto payments, wallet transfers, or financial information
- Ask for identity documents, private keys, credentials, or sensitive personal data via direct messages
- Ask candidates to run code, clone repositories, install software, or open development environments as part of interviews
- Ask candidates to open links, repositories, or files shared by unverified third parties
- Use personal email addresses (e.g. Gmail, Outlook, Proton) for recruiting communications
- Ask candidates to schedule interviews via unofficial Calendly or scheduling links not tied to SettleMint
- Conduct interviews using fake profiles, stock images, AI-generated avatars, or hidden identities
- Ask candidates to screen-share development tools, terminals, or local files
- Claim urgency or secrecy to pressure candidates into bypassing normal hiring steps
- Represent roles that are not published on our official Careers page
