Flexible working hours refer to a schedule that allows people to start and finish their workday when they want.
As a remote-first organization, we trust you can hit your goals without micromanagement, meaning that we believe you can manage your own working hours and energies.
We don’t expect you to work the old-fashioned way. We don’t expect you to log in at 8.00 am sharp, take one hour break, and log off at 5.00 pm.
But we do expect you to consider the team’s working dynamics.
If the team members you more closely collaborate with share your same time zone and usually work in the morning and afternoon, we expect you to adjust your schedule accordingly to have at least 4/5 working hours of overlap.
If you are tired, can’t focus, and realize that you are not productive, take a break! Have a 30-min power nap, or grab a coffee, and come back refreshed and energized!
